When Standard Modules Are Not Enough

Some platforms reject standard modules due to vendor coding, firmware checks or non-standard protocols. Others require specific EEPROM layouts, DDM thresholds or laser tuning. Our engineering team adapts the module firmware and configuration to your exact platform, validates it with samples, and then scales to production — including small-batch runs and OEM projects.

What You Receive

• Custom firmware and EEPROM configuration
• Vendor coding for your switch or router model
• Sample units for platform validation
• Production ramp from small batch to OEM volume

Customization Capabilities

Firmware Customization

EEPROM layout, DDM thresholds and laser settings adapted to your platform.

Vendor Coding

Pre-coded for Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Arista and other platforms.

Small Batch Production

Low minimum order quantities for pilot and lab deployments.

Fast Turnaround

Sample units typically ready within 7–14 days after firmware approval.

How Customization Works

Four steps from requirement confirmation to mass production.

01

Requirements Confirmation

Share target platform, module type, coding and firmware requirements.

02

Firmware Development

We adapt EEPROM, coding and DDM settings for your platform.

03

Sample Validation

You receive sample units to validate on your equipment before mass order.

04

Mass Production

Approved firmware is locked and scaled to your production volume.

Typical Customization Scenarios

Multi-Vendor Environments

One module type coded for several switch brands to simplify spare parts.

Special Protocols

Non-standard timing, DDM or protocol requirements for industrial and transport networks.

OEM Projects

White-label modules with your own labeling and firmware for OEM distribution.

Low MOQ

Frequently Asked Questions

MOQ depends on the module type and customization scope. For most firmware and coding adaptations, small-batch orders of 10–50 units are possible. OEM projects are quoted individually.

After firmware requirements are confirmed, sample units are typically ready within 7–14 days. Complex protocol or EEPROM changes may take longer; we confirm the timeline before development starts.

We verify coding and firmware against your switch or platform model, then send sample units for your own validation. Mass production only starts after you approve the samples.

For ongoing projects we can supply firmware update files and instructions, or handle re-coding at our factory for returned units. The support scope is agreed in the project quote.
